
Anthony "Mikey" LeblancBLACK RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Jackson County authorities are looking for a missing person with disabilities who left his home Sunday and hasn't been seen since.
Jackson County Sheriff's Sgt. Pat LaBarbera says they are looking for Anthony "Mikey" Leblanc, 21.
He was last seen at his home around noon on Sunday. He is believed to have left on a bicycle from the home in the Town of Albion in the area of County Highway C and Pine Creek Road.
According to Jackson County, here is a description of "Mikey":
This missing person answers to the name "MIKEY". "MIKEY is further described as approximately 5'7", 225 pounds, black Hair, brown eyes.
MISSING PERSON was last seen wearing: blue jean shorts, black T-shirt and white tennis shoes.
"MIKEY" is cognitively disabled and reportedly has the mental capacity of a 12 year old child.
"MIKEY" may also be suicidal and is believed to have possible left the residence on a girl's mountain bike. The bike is described as being white/orange and silver in color.
Sgt. LaBarbera says authorities are doing both a ground and air search for the man. K-9 units are trying to track him as well. The department's investigation hasn't found any definite information as to where Leblanc was headed or that he is a danger to anyone else.
Sheriff Duane Waldera of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office stated earlier today "We are taking this incident very seriously and have channeled many resources towards finding this young man."
