LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The hype around Wisconsin's Paul Ryan as Mitt Romney's VP candidate will bring itself to La Crosse Thursday.
According to Ben Sparks, Wisconsin Communications Director for the Romney campaign, a bus tour around the state will make a stop in La Crosse late Thursday morning at the Republican Party Headquarters on Copeland Avenue.
The bus tour will not include either Romney or Ryan according to Sparks.
WXOW originally reported that Romney was scheduled to be in La Crosse with Ryan on Thursday based on local Republican sources. That report was incorrect.
Sparks says schedules have changed since Ryan's selection as Vice-Presidental candidate on Saturday.
More details on the bus tour stop in La Crosse will be released later.
