Punt, Pass and Kick Phenoms

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Aaron Rodgers look out. There were plenty of kids showing off their football skills Saturday morning at Roger Harring Stadium.

They looked to begin what they hope is a journey to the NFL's national Punt, Pass and Kick competition. The kids turned in impressive distances over five age groups spanning from six to fifteen years old. The winners now advance to the sectional level of competition

"I was actually a little excited," said Rachel Peterson, who won the girls' 10-11 year old division. "I thought I wasn't going to get first because I thought the other girl did better than I did, so I was shocked."

Boys 8-9 winner Jackson Warren said, "In my school we do this Punt, Pass and Kick thing too, and I won two years in a row."

Sectionals should be held sometime this October at a location yet to be determined. The winners there advance to Lambeau Field.
