
La Crosse, WI (WXOW)-- Firefighters say they were called to two, unrelated overnight fires in La Crosse.
The first call, which came in about 8:30 PM yesterday, was a garage fire. Firefighters say they arrived on the scene at 2300 Park Avenue to find the garage full of flames and heavy smoke in the air. The fire was put out without any injuries, but the cause is still under investigation.
The second fire started just after midnight. Firefighters responded to a call at 705 Rose Street and when they arrived, they found light smoke emanating from this building. Crews entered and say they quickly put out a small fire.
The building suffered minimal damage and no one was hurt and the cause of this fire also under investigation.
