Several thefts reported near Brownsville

Brownsville, MN (WXOW) - The Houston County Sheriff's Department is asking for help from the public in locating the suspect or suspects in several crimes in the area.

In the last couple of weeks, the Houston County Sheriff's Office says they have had reports of thefts in the Lawrence Lake and Bull Head Bay areas, along the Mississippi River near Brownsville.

Officers say an outboard, boat motor and a trolling motor were taken.

There have also been vehicles broken into and items stolen.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call the Houston County Sheriff's Office at (507) 725-5122.  Callers may stay anonymous.
