MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin football head coach Bret Bielema revealed his team's captains for the 2012 season with a tweet on Tuesday night. The Badgers have six captains, three on offense and three on defense. The captains are, offensive linemen Ricky Wagner and Travis Frederick, running back Montee Ball, linebackers Mike Taylor and Chris Borland, and safety Shelton Johnson.
Wagner, Ball, Taylor and Johnson are seniors, but Frederick and Borland are the first Badger non-senior captains since linebacker Jonathan Casillas was named a captain as a junior in 2007. 2010 was the last time Wisconsin had six captains.
