MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The Wisconsin State Patrol is sporting some new "old" designs on some of their squad cars.
The design for the 2013 Ford cruisers recently won the International Police Vehicle Design Contest in the Federal and State Agencies category sponsored by "Law and Order" magazine.
In commenting on the entry, the judges remarked, "This is a simple, but very classic and old-school design. It strikes a fine balance of just enough but not too much."
14 of the cruisers have the new design.
