One killed in crash near Lanesboro

NEAR LANESBORO, Minn. (WXOW) -- An Austin, Minnesota woman is dead after a motorcycle crash in Fillmore County.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, it happened on Highway 16 at Fillmore County Road 21 near Lanesboro shortly past 2:00 Saturday afternoon.

The Harley was eastbound when the driver lost control and struck a pole. Dana Legried, 38, of Austin was killed and Paul Legried, 49, also of Austin suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The accident is still under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
