Beer glass shape study

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - It's probably not the first thing you notice when you pour yourself a glass of beer, but a new study by British researchers suggests the shape of a person's beer glass may affect how fast they drink it.

The research suggests that people drink their brews faster out of curved glasses than straight ones...four minutes faster on average.

Researchers believe the curved glasses make it hard to pace yourself, because it's more difficult to determine how much you've actually had.
