Town of Nelson (WQOW) - Authorities in Buffalo County are on the lookout for a man who robbed a liquor store.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department says a man robbed the Nelson Discount Liquor Store around 9:30 Sunday night. The clerk was locking up, when someone forced her back inside the store, and into a back room where she hit her head on a shelf. She suffered minor injuries.

The suspect took cash and checks from the register, but its unknown how much. He's described as a 5'7" white male, about 20 years old with a heavy build. He was wearing dark clothing, and fled the scene in a silver colored car.
