2 hurt after motorcycle accident in Alma

ALMA, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- An accident involving two motorcycles injures two people in Alma.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office reports that officers responded about 11:25 a.m. Thursday to the intersection of Highway 35 and Spring Creek Road.

A Harley-Davidson driven by Timothy Bode of Buffalo, Minn., was southbound on Highway 35 and attempting to take a left turn onto Spring Creek Road. A Honda driven by Craig Bechthold of Plymouth, Minn., was also southbound on Highway 35 and rear ended the Harley-Davidson. Both vehicles slid on their side to a stop, throwing the drivers from the motorcycles.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office says Bechthold was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Bode received not life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital.
