Details released on Vice President Biden's visit to Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The Obama campaign is releasing details on Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Eau Claire on Thursday.

The Vice President is holding what the campaign describes as a grassroots event at the W.L. Zorn Arena on the UW-Eau Claire campus.

The campaign says the Vice President will focus his remarks on middle class families and the economy.

Doors will open for the public at the Arena at 9 AM.  Those attending will need a ticket to get into the Arena.  The campaign says tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at campaign offices in Eau Claire, Menomonie, and Hudson.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)  - Vice President Joe Biden is making a campaign stop in the Eau Claire area Thursday.

The Obama campaign released a short statement about the visit.  Much like Saturday's statement saying the Vice President was coming to Western Wisconsin, Sunday's statement said that details on the visit will be released at a later time.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The national political spotlight is about to shine on Western Wisconsin Thursday when Vice President Joe Biden comes for a campaign event.

In a brief statement, the Obama campaign says details on the visit are forthcoming.

An Obama campaign spokesperson tells WXOW that information on where the Vice President will hold his event should come out sometime Sunday.

The Vice President made a campaign stop in Rochester August 21st followed by a visit to the Green Bay area on September 2nd.
