Posted:
ARGYLE, Wisconsin (WKOW) -- The State Attorney General's office announced Sunday that Armin Wand, the father of three young boys killed in a Friday morning fire in Argyle, has been booked into the Lafayette County Jail on suspicion of arson.

Wand is facing a tentative felony charge of Arson of a Building with Intent to Defraud. His eighteen year-old brother, Jeremy L. Wand, also of Argyle, faces the same charge.

The Argyle-Adams Fire Department responded to the house fire at 402 Oak St. in the Village of Argyle just after 3:00 a.m. Friday.
Wand's three sons -- 7-year-old Allen, 5-year-old Jeffrey and 3-year-old Joseph -- died in the blaze.

Before being taken into custody, Wand said his wife is currently on a ventilator at a Madison hospital because her lungs were burned in the fire.

Police said she remains in critical condition Sunday.

The couple also has a two-year-old daughter who was uninjured in the blaze.

The Village of Argyle Police Department, Lafayette County Sheriff's Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation are all investigating the incident.
