Charges filed in fatal Argyle house fire

LAFAYETTE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Charges have been filed against the father of three young boys killed in a Friday morning fire in Argyle.

Online court records show seven charges have been filed against Armin Ward. The charges include three counts of first degree intentional homicide, three counts of attempted homicide and one count of arson of a building without owner's consent.

According to online court records, Wand's 18-year-old brother, Jeremy Wand, faces three counts of first degree intentional homicide, two counts of attempted homicide and one count of arson of a building without owner's consent.

Officials say the fire broke out at 3:10 a.m. Friday, at 402 Oak Street in the Village of Argyle. 

Armin Wand's three boys -- 7-year-old Allen, 5-year-old Jeffrey and 3-year-old Joseph -- were killed in the fire.

Armin Wand's wife, Sharon, remains at UW Hospital with critical injuries. Sharon's family told 27 News on Monday that she was four months pregnant, but lost her unborn child. The couple's 2-year-old daughter Jessica survived.

Both men are expected to appear in Lafayette County Court Wednesday afternoon.
