V-Hawks continue streak over UW-L on VB court

La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  The Viterbo volleyball team won it's 5th match in a row over their crosstown rival UW-La Crosse, 3-1 Wednesday night at Mitchell Hall.

The V-Hawks won 25-19, 25-21, 22-25 and 25-15.

Alicia Olson led the way for Viterbo with 13 kills.

Hannah Ripp and Katie Flock added 11 each for the 22nd ranked team in the nation in NAIA.

Crystal Ziegler led the Eagles with 12 kills.

Viterbo improves to 12-3 in the season while UW-L falls to 4-6.

Even with the V-Hawks recent dominance, UW-L still leads the all-time series 27-8.
