La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - A two car collision on Interstate 90 near Onalaska Friday afternoon killed one man and injured another.
The State Patrol says the victim was a 69 year old Onalaska man. His identity is being withheld until his family is notified.
Just before 4pm this afternoon a car driven by the victim was slowing or stopping in the right lane just east of Exit 5 when it was struck in the rear by a second car. The driver of the first car was killed. The driver of the second car, a 42-year-old Onalaska man, suffered non life threatening injuries.
The accident closed the eastbound lanes for about four hours. It reopened about 8:15pm.
