Candidate Statement
Hello my name is Tom Johnson. I am the Democratic Candidate for Assembly from the 96th District. I have decided to run for this office after watching the current trend of partisan politics and special interest in Madison take precedence over the interest of the residents of the 96th District.
Having lived my whole life in the 96th District I understand that the people of my district want a State Representative who will fight for them not special interest. A State Representative who will bring common sense solutions to Madison. It is time to end the "my way or the highway mentality" that currently exists in Madison. I want to bring government by the people and for the people back to Madison.
I am a veteran who lost his leg in service to his country. Now I want to serve and fight for you in Madison. Vote for a new way forward. Vote for Tom Johnson for 96th Assembly November 6th.
