
TOMAH, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Tomah man is arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol on a charge of 10th offense drunk driving.
53-year-old Paul L. Premo of Tomah was stopped by the intersection of Highways 16 and 71 in Sparta around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for driving 69 miles an hour in a 55 miles an hour zone.
When the trooper started talking to Premo, he noted the smell of intoxicants. Premo was given, and failed, a field sobriety test. He was then taken into custody on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated, 10th offense.
Premo was taken to the Monroe County Jail. He's scheduled for a court appearance on October 1st.
