LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN (WXOW)-- People down at one of Paul Petras favorite were shaken up by the news of his death.
Paul Petras and his son often made stops at Glory Days, especially on game days. Though Paul wasn't much of a drinker, the bartender says he was there for the people and the Packers.
Aside from game days, Paul always stopped at Glory Days on Tuesday.
"Tuesday has come and gone and yes it was a little strange, not having Paul in here," Steve Javner said. "And him and his son, when the came in there it was usually for a football game. And they used to eat plenty of brats and french fries were their choices. And A.J. was a really nice kid. Me and Paul used to like to talk about classic automobiles and motorcycles. I'm just gonna miss him a lot, and his son also."
Javner says Saturday night people called the bar as news of Paul's death spread, asking if it was true.
