
Township of Albion (WXOW) - The Red Cross is assisting three people after a fire destroyed their home.
It happened around 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Township of Albion.
The Black River Falls Fire Department says when they arrived on scene; the two story home was fully engulfed.
Fire Departments from Melrose, Merrillan, Hixton and Alma were called in to assist.
It took them close to six hours to put the fire out.
Officials say the home is a total loss and a storage building nearby was also damaged from the flames being wind blown towards it.
No one was injured.
The house was being rented by three men who were not home at the time of the fire.
The Black River Falls Fire Department is investigating what caused the fire.
