La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) The Eagles have had an extra week to prepare for their conference opener Saturday at Stevens Point.
They've probably spent a lot of time looking to spark their offense.
UW-La Crosse has just 3 offensive touchdowns in three games this season.
In fact, they've only gone over 200 yards of total offense once.
Granted, they've played some tough teams.
Even so they looking to increase their production significantly.
"Offensively, it's a matter of execution and knowing your assignment. But that's similar to what the defense is too. Both teams know some day are good and some days are bad. One day you could be riding high and the next day not feeling so great," said head coach Joel Dettwiler.
"We just work on tempo and focus on assignments, trusting each other and really getting ourselves prepared for the game and going back to the basics," said receiver Tony Bilderback.
The Eagles rallied to beat the Pointers at home last season 31-28.
