Oktoberfest-Golden Brat revealed!

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Ok, so its not golden, but golden brown.  Still its pretty cool.  And definitely something you'd think of when you think of Oktoberfest.

It is a giant 65 pound brat, code named B-52, that stretches an incredible six feet in length.

Of course, it comes on a bun and is covered in plenty of kraut.

Local company Bakalars made the giant brat as part of a fundraiser for the American Legion.  They're serving breakfast. All money raised from breakfast sales will be used to help local veterans and children.

They're also serving up the brat at no cost (in smaller, more manageable pieces).
