LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - You may just see a hot air balloon drifting through the sky Sept. 29.
The balloon belongs to the National Touchstone Energy Cooperative, and it was tethered in front of the Dairyland Power administration building Friday.
It stopped in La Crosse to kick off "Co-op Month," in conjunction with Oktoberfest. The balloon is meant to bring attention to all the good things our local Dairyland Power Co-op brings to the community.
Dairyland Power employees were given tethered rides this afternoon. This is the balloon's first time visiting La Crosse.
