LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - More than 100,000 people lined La Crosse's streets to take in the parade on what turned out to be a near perfect day.
The largest parade in the area, some 150 different groups marched through the two-mile route, which started on the north side and concluded in south La Crosse.
Plenty of music from high school and college bands and other musicians filled the air along the route.
People started camping out for the parade early Saturday. The thousands of spectators began their parade festivities long before the first floats came down the route.
