MILWAUKEE (WXOW) – A 22-year-old man is dead and four other people are hurt after a shooting at a north side Milwaukee park on Saturday night.
Police said all five of the victims were shot. The four who were injured are expected to survive and they range in age from 15 to 23 years old. Alexander Cross, 22, was killed.
Authorities said the shooting happened Saturday night at Atkinson Park on the city's north side. Police said it might have been prompted by an earlier argument at the park.
Police are still looking for a suspect on Sunday.
WISN-TV in Milwaukee talked with Francoise Wright, 15, who took a bullet through the arm. He says he ran when he heard the gunfire.
"I just feel lucky I'm alive," Wright says. He said it took him a minute to realize he'd been shot. "[I knew] when I looked down at my arm and it was bleeding."
Wright said he didn't know the gunman, or why that person started shooting.
