Bracelets sold in honor of shooting victims

Posted:

LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN (WXOW)-- Bracelets honoring Paul and A.J. Petras are now on sale. Paul and A.J. were shot and killed inside their family shop, May's Photo, back on September 15.

The lime green and white bracelets read "Forever in our hearts. Paul and A.J. Petras." They are $5 a piece, and all the money goes toward a memorial fund to raise money for a commemorative bench at Pettibone Boat Club and Mount La Crosse.

"The bracelets are kind of a two way street," said Jamie Arnold, a friend of the family. "It's a great way to raise money for the memorial and just so people don't forget. It's just to honor them. You look at your wrist and you think of Paul and AJ. So I think it's a great way to honor them."

The bracelets are available at Dublin Square and Glory Days in downtown La Crosse.
