LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Like many other parts of the state, both Democrats and Republicans gathered to watch Wednesday's debate.
Supporters of President Obama watched at the Rivoli Theater, filling up about half of the seats, often cheering during the debate. Some of the people there told WXOW that the president is the only one with a plan for taxes and how he plans to lessen the nation's debt.
It is a concern many Republicans have, but one they say Mitt Romney has the solution to.
At the Republican headquarters, a more modest watch party for GOP fans. Romney supporters there say they president is lacking a plan to manage the national debt.
The next presidential debate takes place October 16th.
Before that however, the vice presidential contenders have their turn on October 11th.
