
Dillon CaudillROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man arrested for sexually assaulting and stabbing a 12-year-old girl Tuesday in her home made his first court appearance on those charges Thursday morning.
The charges against 31-year-old Dillon Caudill stem from an incident Tuesday that includes the stabbing of a 12-year-old girl with scissors, a violent assault on the girl's mother and evading police until being found walking on Marion Road shortly before 5 p.m.
The 12-year-old girl is in stable condition at Saint Marys Hospital, according to police. Her mother sustained minor injuries.
The hearing Thursday laid out Caudill's bail, which is set at $600,000 without conditions and $300,000 with conditions.
Caudill can't leave Minnesota and can't contact the family.
His next court appearance is set for October 18.
