HOLMEN, WI (WXOW)—Thompson Animal Medical Center held their annual Doggone Golf Tournament and silent auction for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Saturday afternoon.
This year, Dr. Tom Thompson is helping his CMN Hero Jonas Kugler, a cancer survivor, raise money.
They are hoping to raise $15,000 - $20,000.
He said raising money for CMNH is easy to do because all of the money stays here to help local children like Jonas.
Dr. Thompson and his wife lost their first two children to a genetic disease.
One year later, CMNH came to Gundersen Lutheran.
"It was the perfect fit for us to give back to others who has been so kind during a difficult time in our lives," Dr. Thompson said.
