LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The La Crosse County Sheriff's Department is reaching out once again for your help in finding the Brice Prairie man who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Dave Schroeder is assumed to have left his house on foot with no phone or wallet, wearing a blue shirt from his church, Journey Lutheran. With no signs of Dave to this point, the Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help.
Officials say they believe he wouldn't have gone far from home before seeking a ride or shelter. The Sheriff's Department says two distinct physical attributes could help people identify Dave.
Sgt. Mark Yehle said, "The first reason being that Mr. Schroeder is larger in stature than an average man. He stands six feet, five inches tall and weighs 300 pounds. Second, he walks with a distinct limp. He favors his right leg."
The Sheriff's Department urges residents of Brice Prairie to search garages, campers, boats, trailers, or any other possible places Mr. Schroeder could be seeking shelter.
