A local salon hosts cut-a-thon to benefit cancer survivors

La Crosse, Wisconsin (WXOW) ------ A local hair salon is helping cancer patients through the program "Look Good Feel Better."

Sharon Sebranek visited LA Hair Designers in La Crosse today for a simple style but 11 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer.  "This program pairs stylists with patients and teaches them hair and cosmetic tips to empower them to stay strong and always feel beautiful. There is women there to talk to you and your self confidence comes back. Even though you are going through tragedy, you can still have self confidence and you have the right to look beautiful and feel beautiful."

If you would like to help other women look good and feel better --- you can.  LA Hair designers is part of a nation-wide cut-a-thon and all proceeds benefit "Look Good Feel Better." From eight in the morning until eight at night on Wednesday -- haircuts are only ten dollars and you will also get a tasty treat to go along with it.   Every dollar will helps women like Sharon.
