La Crescent, Minnesota (WXOW) - A day long rescue ended with success in La Crescent Thursday.
Over the past several weeks, neighbors near Elm and 7th Streets noticed a stray cat wandering in the area.
They called La Crescent Animal Rescue Wednesday night so they could place the cat in a shelter, but once there they noticed the cat had kittens.
Animal Rescue released the cat Thursday morning hoping to find the kittens and they did.
Four small kittens were trapped in a storm sewer near Elm Street.
They were rescued by La Crescent resident Kayla Acosta and now she hopes Animal Rescue can find them a new home.
If you would like to adopt one of the kittens rescued, call the La Crescent Animal Rescue at (507) 895-2066.
