
La Crosse School District photoLA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The La Crosse School District plans a series of informational meetings to go over the referendum question appearing on the ballot next month.
Four meetings are scheduled around La Crosse between October 18th and October 27th to give voters an opportunity to find out more about building a new school on the north side.
The new facility would replace two existing schools, Roosevelt and Franklin, that have age and structural issues.
The district is asking for $15.7 Million from taxpayers for the new facility.
Here are the dates and times for the meetings:
Thursday, October 18th at 6:30pm in Room 118 at Central High School
Saturday, October 20th at 10am in the LMC at Northside Elementary-Franklin Campus
Thursday, October 25th at 6:30pm in the Theater at Logan High School
Saturday, October 27th at 10am in the Auditorium at Hogan Administrative Center.
