LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) – The La Crosse community had the chance to learn more about living sustainably Saturday at the second annual ‘Living Green Expo.'
It was put on at Western Technical College, and featured classes about sustainable building, driving and eating, as well as green cooking tips and games for kids.
"The benefits of being more sustainable, personally, are just your health and well being," said Shannon Havlik, the event's organizer. "Also, it's a benefit to your pocket book. It can actually save you money."
The City of La Crosse, La Crosse County and the La Crosse Area Builders Association helped WTC with the organization of the event.
