Brewers team awards announced

MILWAUKEE (WXOW) - A handful Brewers players received recognition Monday from the Milwaukee chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA). 

There was no surprise who they have as team MVP. Last years National League MVP Ryan Braun took home that prize. Aramis Ramirez won for "Best Newcomer."

A trio of Brewers pitchers earned honors. Yovani Gallardo was named Most Valuable Pitcher, while Marco Estrada was Milwaukee's "Unsung Hero." Finally, John Axford won the "Nice Guy Award."
