Petras Memorial Fund at $6,872

La Crosse, WI (WXOW) - A memorial fund for AJ Petras has reached more than $6,000.

Petras his father Paul were shot and killed inside May's photo September 15th.

The fund will be used to place a memorial at Mt. La Crosse and at Pettibone park.

AJ was an avid snowboarder. He competed with the Aquinas, Onalaska, West Salem Ski Team and spent many winter months practicing at Mt. La Crosse.

There's an account organized for AJ at the Governmental Employees Credit Union in La Crosse.

The account is called "AJ Memorial".  Donations can be dropped off at the credit union at 225 La Crosse Street or mailed.
