Lancers lose finale; Caledonia finishes undefeated

La Crescent, MINNESOTA (WXOW)  La Crescent fell behind 28-7 at the half to Rochester Lourdes and was unable to make a second half comeback, finishing with a 42-21 defeat to the Eagles.

Austin DeBoer had a 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to make it a two score game, but that's as close as the Lancers would get.

Griff Slightam had 195 yards rushing for Lourdes, which finished the regular season undefeated.

Zack Melbostad had 9 catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns for La Crescent.

Elsewhere, Lanesboro beat Houston 42-35.

Caledonia got 148 yards rushing from Josh Cuda in a 40-13 win over Kingsland.

The defending Class AA champs finished the regular season 8-0.

Chatfield beat Rushford-Peterson 30-14.

Josh Olerud had 330 yards rushing for Spring Grove in their 51-13 win over Mabel-Canton.
