ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A La Crosse man is the proud owner of an original 1965 Mustang Pony after donating to charity.
The La Crosse Valley View Rotary has been selling tickets to win the Mustang since March.
Proceeds from ticket sales went to local charities including Operation Homefront, Freedom Honor Flight, the Salvation Army and the Boys and Girls Club.
The Valley View Rotary has been running this charity for three years.
Officials said this year, they've raised $42,000.
Richard Kehr, who won the car, was handed over the keys Tuesday at Bernengen's Chevrolet of La Crosse/Onalaska.
"I bought the raffle tickets and I'm still speechless. It's unbelievable," Kehr said.
Kehr and his wife Judy said they used to own a 1967 Mustang, and it feels good to be back behind the wheel.
