KAUKAUNA (WKOW) -- Governor Scott Walker spent Friday highlighting what he calls the improving business climate in Wisconsin.
Walker was at a ribbon cutting of the expanded facility of Mid Valley Industries in Kaukauna.
With the expansion, the company expects to add 40 new jobs by 2014.
Walker said, "It's about sending a message to other employers, you know, confidence is building, people are heading in the right direction. We can put more people to work in this state and that our policies are working."
Mid Valley makes precision machining parts for many industries like the mining, power transmission and paper industries.
