LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- Democratic senate candidate Tammy Baldwin urged more people to take advantage of early voting during a campaign stop in La Crosse Monday.
State Representative Jill Billings introduced Baldwin at La Crosse County's Democratic Headquarters.
Baldwin urged people to vote early, rather than waiting until election day, when unforeseen circumstances might keep you away from the polls.
"People have been studying up on the differences between myself and Tommy Thompson," Baldwin said. "I have been squarely on the side of middle class families, while he's been partner in a lobbying firm. I think people are aware of the clear contrast ad hopefully they'll be participating immediately."
Baldwin will face former Gov. Tommy Thompson in the race to fill the seat currently held by retiring Sen. Herb Kohl.
You can watch the third and final debate between Thompson and Baldwin Friday on WXOW and WXOW.com.
