LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN (WXOW)-- A UW-La Crosse student who ran from police early Sunday faces charges of assaulting an officer.
Prosecutors say 19-year-old Christopher Stackhouse of Houston, MN, ran from police after they received a report that a man was loitering outside a home on North 13th St. shortly after midnight.
Police say Stackhouse kicked an officer in the face when they caught up with him, then ran off again. He was found hiding outside another home. Stackhouse had a .14 blood alcohol level and a fake id in his backpack.
