Man injured in motorcycle crash

DE SOTO, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A De Soto man is injured in a Motorcycle accident Wednesday afternoon.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Department says 54-year-old John Johnson was riding his motorcycle on State Highway 82, near Brown Road, when he lost control around a curve and crashed.

Johnson sustained neck, shoulder, and back injuries and he was transported to Vernon Memorial Healthcare, in Viroqua, by Tri-State Ambulance, and later transferred to Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center, in La Crosse. 

Johnson was not wearing a helmet and the crash remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office.
