Rep. Sean Duffy has raised $2.4 million dollars this year toward his re-election bid, and the Ashland Republican has just over $650,000 cash on hand.
Duffy is a first-term Republican congressman. Democrats see his district as one of two where they have a credible chance to pick up a seat.
Duffy is a former special prosecutor and district attorney of Ashland County. He's also a professional lumberjack.
He's opposed by Patrick Kreitlow, a former state senator who also worked previously as a TV news anchor. Kreitlow's campaign declined to release the Democrat's latest fundraising numbers Thursday afternoon.
However, his campaign figures will be posted online later this week. The candidates were required to submit their fundraising reports to the Federal Election Commission, which posts them on its website.
