La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) The big games just keep coming for UW-La Crosse.
They'll play their 4th ranked team in 8 games this Saturday when they host 6th ranked UW-Oshkosh.
This will be the second go around this season for these two.
The Eagles lost a non-conference game at Oshkosh last month 16-7, a game in which they led at the half.
They also beat Oshkosh last season.
So La Crosse has played the Titans tougher than anyone in the conference recently.
"They're an option offense which is similar to a Central High School around here. It's really counting numbers and making sure your defense is lined up. You have to be able to play fast. last year we kind of surprised them. A lot of teams try to run their base defense. We try to run a defense that's going to work," said head coach Joel Dettwiler.
"Our defense gets a lot of stops against them. They have the only interception against them this season. It's just a matter of us not letting our defense down," said receiver Jeff Haffeman.
Kickoff Saturday is set for 1 o'clock.
