New Sign for Holmen Fire Dept.

HOLMEN, WISCONSIN (WXOW)-- An award winning sign now stands in front of the Holmen Area Fire Department.

The electronic billboard, designed by the La Crosse Sign Company won the award for best electronic sign for a fire department in the state.

Richard Daffinson, a Holmen resident, donated the sign in memory of his wife, Arlene.

The message board gives passersby the time, weather and details about community events.
