LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan makes a brief visit to La Crosse Tuesday to thank volunteers and supporters for their help with gathering supplies for Hurricane Sandy relief.
He shook hands and greeted the crowd as he entered the Republican Headquarters on Copeland Avenue around 2:30 p.m.
Staying away from campaign issues, Ryan spent his time talking about the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy and the relief and rebuilding efforts that are just getting underway.
We will have more on this developing story here on wxow.com and on Live at Five and the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Reports.
