LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN (WXOW)-- You can see bull riding at the La Crosse Center this weekend. That includes free-style bull fighting.
If you've never been to one of these events, a 30-year bull-fighting veteran is announcing, making sure everyone can follow along.
"My job is to make sure I help educate you, for the first time fan that comes to the event," said Rob Smets, the announcer. "I tell you what, first time fans are always the funniest because they've got lots of questions. We'll answer a lot of their questions and we're gonna have a good time."
The two shows are Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 6:30, the show begins at 8. Tickets are available at the door, and before the show there are free pony rides for children.
Saturday night, the first 300 children receive free cowboy hats.
