LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - President Barack Obama's campaign brought some star power to Western Wisconsin Sunday.
Cast members from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Happy Endings stopped at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse hoping to rally voters.
Among the group was Danny DeVito. He, and the others, say this election will be decided at the polls, adding they're here to fire up supporters and encourage more people to vote.
"Everybody's very enthusiastic about it, getting out canvassing, talking to people," DeVito said. "The main thing is to get people to vote. Get out and really speak your mind and look around at what's going on in the world and say, 'Who's doing the good job?'"
After taking time to sign some autographs, the actors encouraged UW students to pick up canvassing packets from the clock tower – another way both campaigns are working to mobilize their bases.
