TOWN OF GREENFIELD, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A two vehicle accident Monday (11/05) afternoon sends two young children to the hospital.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened at 4:44 p.m. Monday(11/05) on HWY 21 in the Town of Greenfield.
Thirty-one-year old Kara Lorenz of Tomah was driving her Ford Escape when she signaled to make a left turn and slowed down.
Forty-seven-year old Richard Johnson of La Crosse did not see Lorenz slow down and hit the back of her vehicle with the postal truck he was driving.
Two children riding with Lorenz, a one year old and three year old were injured.
The two were taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
