Bulaga expected to see specialist for hip injury

Posted:

Green Bay, WISCONSIN (WXOW)   If the bye week would've come two weeks ago it would've come at a good time for the Packers.

Needless to say, they'll take one now although it's not expected to cure all their injury woes.

Bryan Bulaga will probably be seeing a hip specialist to diagnose his injury and a course of treatment.

Bulaga's left hip was damaged when he came down awkwardly trying to regain his balance.

Until they know what the injury is, there is not a timetable right now for his return.

But T.J. Lang figures to be the right tackle for their next game in Detroit.

"He's been in that position before, he started a game last year in Detroit for us. He was comfortable, and he did a really good job," said offensive line coach James Campen.

"There are going to be some guys that are strictly a one position guy, but T.J. has played almost every position on the line except for center in the game.  So his versatility is a bonus for us," said offensive coordinator Tom Clements.
